i think that’s a very comforting thought, and one that takes a shitload of self-confidence. perhaps that’s really what it boils down to: be confident in what you do (is that the same as know where you came from/know how deep your integrity runs)
yes! exactly. keri smith (wish jar) said something about that once. like she’s the most creative when she removes herself entirely from all the visual stimulus. i think a healthy dose of inspiration from outside sources is definitely necessary to keep inspired, but not the crazy bombardment of images that is so normal these days with the internet and all. hmmm….. confidence = integrity? i’ll have to think about this. in some ways yes, in some ways no.
